Cnoc na Lear, "hill by the
ocean", is a modern, well-appointed home nestled in the small
settlement of The Pines. Cnoc na Lear's backpacker accomodation is welcoming, warm and cosy, offering immediate access to Queen Charlotte Track.
Endeavour Inlet can only be reached by water, but regular
daily water taxis stop at The Pines main jetty.
A varied and happy time could be spent exploring the Queen Charlotte walkway, fishing in the bay where blue cod abound,
dining in the nearby restaurants on the walkway, taking a leisurely kayak trip around the inlet
or simply listening to the tuis and kereru in the trees outside your accommodation while watching the sun set over the water ...
just relax and enjoy the quiet bush surroundings.
